Ekata Theatre
EKATA'S HISTORY
Ekata Theatre was founded in 2017 by Erika Eva as a crazy dream of a young theatre maker to create unique and relatable performing arts. Between 2017 and 2022 we produced numerous theatre shows and other cultural events in Helsinki and London with the same passion.
Something shifted in 2022 both in our personal lives and in Ekata's work. We started to become painfully aware that the world has nudged to a new position and there is no turning back and the business-as-usual is not possible anymore. We started to invest all our time and effort in learning about the world today and tomorrow, and in finding out how we can serve life with the skills and abilities we have.
Ekata is now focused on building meaning and resilience for the future through workshops, creative methods and art pieces. More about where we stand currently, you can read here.
